Connections Filling Points - Benefil
Possibilities for fillingpoints - Sewage
Possibilities for ventilation - Sewage
Possible Constructions for connections for Benefil Hardfoam
1. Possibilities for fillingpoints
- 1.1 Manhole that will be taken away
1.2 Manhole that will be taken away with more connections
1.3 Manhole that should be kept in good order ( intact)
1.4 No Manhole
1.5 Steel Tube/Pipe
1.6 Sewage only accessible from one side
2. Possibilities for ventilation
- 2.1 Manhole that will be taken away
2.2 Manhole that should be kept in good order ( intact)
2.3 No Manhole
2.4 Steel Tube/Pipe
2.5 Sewage only accessible from one side
Fillingpoints are made out of:
• HDPE hoses Ø63 mm ( outside measurements)
• 2 inch or 1,5 inch screw-thread ( only for steel tubes) outside
WARNING NEVER USE PVC CONNECTIONS ( ONLY PVC VENTILATIONS !!)
- • When connections are made make sure that these jobs are done properly, while during foaming some
additional pressure can/will be built up
• Connections to houses/buildings must be properly been blocked/closed
• A sewage line/tube/pipe should not be longer then 50 meters. If the length is longer please contact us
• You can only foam from Manhole to Manhole
• Narrowing of the pipe/tubes/lines etc should not be present. If so contact us
• Their should not be any closed manholes into a sewage line/tube/pipe
1. Possibilities for fillingpoints
1.1 Manhole that will be taken away
• Connect a HDPE hose Ø50mm or Ø63 mm ( outside measurements) of 3 meter into a sewage pipe.
• Make sure that the filling point is above ground level.
• Fill the Manhole with concrete till approx 40 cm above the edge of the sewage pipe.
• Leave this construction for a minimum of 2 days to harden out
1.2 Manhole that will be taken away with more connections
• Connect a HDPE hose Ø50mm or Ø63 mm ( outside measurements) of 3 meter into a sewage pipe.
• Make sure that the filling point is above ground level.
• Fill the Manhole with concrete till approx 40 cm above the edge of the sewage pipe.
• Leave this construction for a minimum of 2 days to harden out
1.3 Manhole that should be kept in good order ( intact)
• Connect a HDPE hose Ø50mm or Ø63 mm ( outside measurements) of 3 meter into a sewage pipe.
• Make sure that the filling point is above ground level.
• Make a hose connection to fix the HDPE hose at the place where the wall will be made.
• Make a brick wall with waterresistant cement to secure a waterproof construction
• Leave this construction for a minimum of 2 days to harden out
1.4 No Manhole
• Connect a HDPE hose Ø50mm or Ø63 mm ( outside measurements) of 3 meter into a sewage pipe.
• Make sure that the filling point is above ground level.
• Make a hose connection to fix the HDPE Hose at the place where the wall will be made.
• Make a brick wall with waterresistant cement to secure a waterproof construction
• Leave this construction for a minimum of 2 days to harden out
OR
• Make a hole in the sewage pipe
• Connect a HDPE hose Ø50mm or Ø63 mm ( outside measurements) of 3 meter into a sewage pipe.
• Make sure that the filling point is above ground level.
• Fill the hole with concrete
• Leave this construction for a minimum of 2 days to harden out
1.5 Steel Tube/Pipe
• Weld a 1,5 inch or 2 inch pipe with outside thread onto the steel tube at the end where the pressure is placed ( filling point)
1.6 Sewage only accessible from one side
• Build a brick wall with an opening at the bottom for the removal of water, this can also be used as a ventilationpoint
• Bring a HDPE hose through the opening at the bottom till the end of the sewage pipe
• Make sure that the filling point is above ground level.
• Leave this construction for a minimum of 2 days to harden out
2. Possibilities for ventilation
2.1 Manhole that will be taken away
• Nothing need to be done the manhole will operate as a vent pipe.
• This construction has less back-pressure then all other constructions
• Water needs to be pumped out in all cases
2.2 Manhole that should be kept in good order ( intact)
• Connect a pipe at the bottom as a vent pipe, through which the sewage can be pumped empty. This will operate as a vent pipe.
• Make sure that the vent point is above ground level.
• Fill the hole with concrete till approx 40 cm above the edge of the sewage pipe.
• Leave this construction for a minimum of 2 days to harden out
2.3 No Manhole
• Connect a pipe at the bottom as a vent pipe, through which the sewage can be pumped empty. This will operate as a vent pipe
• Make sure every vent pipe is above the ground level
• Make a brick wall with waterresistant cement to secure a waterproof construction
• Leave this construction for a minimum of 2 days to harden out
2.4 Steel Tube/Pipe
• Connect a pipe at the bottom as a vent pipe, through which the sewage can be pumped empty. This will operate as a vent pipe
• Make sure every vent pipe is above the ground level
• Make a brick wall with waterresistant cement to secure a waterproof construction
• Leave this construction for a minimum of 2 days to harden out
OR
• Make a hole in the sewage pipe
• Connect a HDPE/Tyleen hoses to the bottom of the sewage pipe as a vent
• Make sure that the filling point is above ground level.
• Fill the hole with concrete
• Leave this construction for a minimum of 2 days to harden out
2.5 Sewage only accessible from one side
