Multi-Purpose, super lightweight, engineering filler / grout
An economical and fast alternative to convectional void filling

What is Benefil?

• A unique, pre-expanded structural resin that becomes super-light in weight.
  It is produced on site form a liquid base-slowly or at much higher volumes dependent on the need.
  It can be poured, pumped or injected into holes, voids and interstitial spaces-or laterally over long distances.
  Pre-expanded before placement and whit a short gel time, Benefil will displace residual liquids and can be applied underwater.
  Not a liquid, not a solid, it flows only under applied pressure-unit it gels and begins to set hard. The slump characteristics are controllable and the material does not run away.
  Benefil is environmentally neutral, inert, solvent free, non-toxic and non-flammable. It can be recycled for agricultural purposes and can be disposed of in landfill.

The initial business concept of the company was to provide a solution for superficial oil spillage based on using an aminoplast hard foam, but rapidly developed into a concept to fill oil tanks for safe remediation. Furthermore this part of the group is specialised in supplying major players in the industry with raw materials - using their own brandnames - and supplying staff for training facilities.

Benefil® fills voids (seawalls, retaining walls, culverts, sewage pipes, pipelines, relining) and is a super-lightweight engineering filler grout. Benefil®, also supports, raises and/or re-levels concrete slabs (floor lifting), ebb and flow systems in greenhouses. In earlier days all applications carried out by the Aqua Resins Technologies Group, former Verheijen Resins B.V., relating to industrial applications and lightweight roof gardens were branded under the name Bacel®.
Due to the need to specialise, various new brandnames were created to supply the market with the proper technical backup and specialised brandname/product.
At this moment in time, Bacel® is still the leading brandname within the Tank Decommissioning Industry within the United Kingdom and Ireland among others.
